What is the qualification process to compete in the Treasure Cup?
- There are three stages to the Treasure Cup.
‣
- Each Treasure Dao game community will run its own test campaign.
- Up to 20 players from each community will move to the Treasure Cup Qualifier within AI Arena.
‣
- Qualifiers will receive Demo Access to AI Arena.
- The top 5 performers from each team will qualify for the Treasure Cup Tournament to represent their community.
‣
- Between 100-150 finalists will compete in the Treasure Cup.
- There will be 10 teams (see below).
- Main Tournament will have 3 phases
- Phase 1: Training Camp - Practice and train your AI
- Phase 2: Individal Competition - Players compete to finish top 50% on the leaderboard
- Phase 3: Treasure Cup - Top 4 players compete on behalf of their teams in an elimination tournament

How does the Treasure Cup tournament work?
- There are two separate competitions:
- Individual Competition - Each player competes individually on the Treasure Cup leaderboard. Your AIs are ranked by an ELO scoring system. The top 50% of finishers win AI Arena Mint Pass NFTs, and the top 3 finishers win grand prizes.
- Treasure Cup Finals - We average the ELO of each of the 10 teams. The top 4 teams select one player to represent them in the knockout tournament of the Treasure Cup Finals. The player must be from a Treasure Dao community. There will be two semi-final matches and one final match. Each match will be a best 3 out of 5. Semi-Finals and Finals will both be 1 match elimination.

*Note: Community Bonus denotes the $MAGIC that will be given to the project ecosystem. For instance, if the Bitmates team finishes in first place, the project will receive a 1,500 $MAGIC bonus. The 5,000 $MAGIC will be split among participating players.

How will I be evaluated in the Demo Qualifier?
- You will use the demo version of AI Arena.
- You will be evaluated based on how consistently you can beat different CPU bots in Simulation.
- Your overall activity levels during your access period will also be evaluated.
- You have 7 days to progress as far as you can in the game.
- Your eligibility for the actual cup will be determined by the combination of these 2 metrics.

Does the training progress made in Demo transfer to the Treasure Cup Competition?
No, it does not transfer. During the Treasure Cup, each participant will be allocated one fighter and will have to start from scratch. We do this to ensure that everyone is on a level playing field.

Can I Choose My AI's Attributes?
- No, you will not be able to choose your AI's attributes. We do this to ensure that everyone is on a level playing field.

What is the time requirement during the Demo Qualifier and the actual Tournament?
- This is a competition, so decide how much time you want to put in.
- For reference, during the last AI Arena competition the average time spent per player was approx. 1.5hrs per day.
- In general, the more time you put in, the better your chances are of doing well.
- AI Arena is a game of skill, it does not incentivize “time-grind”
- You can play the game asynchronously, meaning you can train and start rank battles whenever you like. Matchmaking is on demand because the characters are controlled by AI.

- The teams are named after each Treasure Dao community competing in the Treasure Cup
